1- perform the day-to-day work in order to increase refinery profit, enhance plant reliability/integrity, and promote safety & compliance to environmental standards.
2- Ensure that all turnaround and major shutdown projects and activities are planned effectively and in compliance with the quality, health, environmental and safety policies and procedures of YASREF.
3- Follow up on and track the actual execution of turnaround and major shutdown projects against the set plan, recommend any required changes, and ensure accurate and timely communication to the concerned parties.
4- Ensure that all work problems, issues, and disputes that might arise during the execution of turnaround and major shutdown project are effectively solved in coordination with all concerned parties.
5- participate in developing turnaround and major shutdown critical path, activity logic, estimated budget and expected outcomes.
6- Assist in coordinating turnaround tendering and contracting activities, such as attending pre-tender meetings, answering questions, evaluating and awarding tenders.
7- prepare T/A budgets, cost projections and budget proposals, and communication those to the projects & T/A unit supervisor for approval.
8- Ensure adherence to the T/A and Major shutdowns process and procedures and guide the continuous improvements of those.
9- Coordinate concerned divisions to ensure that all required resources are available and well prepared to execute the work.
10- Track contractors’ key performance indicators and prepare periodical report with recommendations on contractors compliance. Ensure prepare planning for manpower and material resources for the implantation and completion of the planned maintenance activities as per the schedule.
11- Sr. T/A Planner to ensure effective review of turnaround and train new joining planners.
12- Provide the necessary support to the respective OME team members before / after daily meeting to ensure high level of safety performance and comply with health, safety and environmental standards.
13- Perform other job-related duty as assigned by projects & T/A unit supervisor.
