Sr. Sales Executive – Advertising (Doha) – AL JAZEERA NETWORK

Job Purpose Summary:

To generate Advertising Revenue by working with with Agencies, Sales representative and direct clients on all accounts, create all necessary presentations and packages.

This individual should have the experience in dealing with media proposals including the calculation of GRP’s, reach, frequency, cpp, cpm and multichannel combination. Have the knowledge to run cross-tabulations from various customized research, defining targeted and potential markets and creating an advertising presentations to generate advertising profits. creation of packages for all channels on regional and local level, creating a programing grid that is rating based, media kits, sponsorship packages, media presentations of each channel, assisting in an inventory control system with the traffic department, program profiling and packaging, event packaging, also the knowledge to run a TGI analysis along with all the needed requirements and all the needed functions as required by the department manager. The Head of Section is also responsible for working with all sales representative firms that have contracts with Aljazeera Network in providing all available data and information that will assist in sales efforts including joining them on sales efforts.

This positions requires a full and deep knowledge and understanding of various calculations such as ratings, CPP, CPM, GRP’s, Reach & frequency, Cumes, TV shares, analysing monthly rating analysis, operating various rating software, TGI, post media analysis, Microsoft office. This individual should have full understanding of the sales process and sales representative, agencies and needs of clients.

This person should have characteristics of working under pressure, efficient, flexible office hours, understanding of the media world, organized, excellent communication, the completion of a project from conception to completion in a an acceptable fashion.

This individual should have the capabilities and experience in running a team and with high level of ethics.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Gather all needed data

• Prepare presentations

• Prepared packages – new programs, specials, etc..

• Maintain all logistics internally and externally

• Maintain client database

Other Responsibilities:

Perform other duties relevant to the job as requested.
