SALES ENGINEER – Wajhat Glass & Aluminum Company

-Responsible to fully understand the company’s product range, its purpose and benefits by the technical and products training provided by the company during the first week of joining the company. The Sales engineer will have rounds to estimation, technical, production & projects departments to understand fully its procedures.

-Identifies current and future customer requirements regarding aluminum works by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand product requirements. It is the responsibility of the sales engineer to properly qualify and investigate each prospective client in accordance to its credibility in the market.

-Establishes new accounts and services accounts by identifying potential customers; planning and organizing sales call schedule including travel schedules.

-Responsible for the proper product presentation with the prospective client(s) this means that the sales engineer should be prepared in all aspect of the presentation equipped with product knowledge and current project and market trends.

-Retrieving from customers the complete and pertinent documents of each project inquiry including basic knowledge of project requirements and other important project details that will be needed for the required price proposal. The inquiry will be submitted to the document controller for recording and to make request for quotation to be submitted to estimation for pricing.

-Coordinate with the Estimation department and presenting all important consideration of the package offer for the required project proposal, including terms and conditions. Must analyze the costs of the package before submitting to client.

-Submitting price offers and negotiate/persuade the client to finalize the offer through confirmation of the order, either by official Purchase Order or a Formal Contract. In case of the client’s absence of a contract, the sales engineer will be responsible to draft the project contract with the terms and conditions as approved by the company.

-Coordinate with the client and the company’s technical department during the design stage. This includes submitting to client physical samples for contractors and consultant’s approval from the coordination with technical and production department.

– Responsible to maintain existing client base and to offer after-sales support to client. A required Customer Satisfaction Form shall be submitted to client to survey the company’s performance against the project execution and retrieve client ratings for improvement.

-Keeping the management informed by attending Sales Meetings and submitting Sales Report on a regular basis as per schedule assigned by the Sales Manager.

-Required to report daily to the offices, in case an immediate meeting will be required by the client, it’s the responsibility of the Sales engineer to coordinate with the Sales Manager regarding this meeting.
