Trainer – Retail Academy Female

Jeddah

Reports to:

Regional Academy Training Supervisor / Training Officer

Job Purpose:

Deliver training & development programmes to equip the employee with the knowledge, skills and motivation to carry out work-related tasks, in attainment of their full potential. Support in design and development of the training programs ensuring it effectively meets the business needs, quality standards and enhances performance.

Qualifications & Experience:

 High school or Diploma

 Has attended or conducted soft skills training e.g. Customer Care, Communication Skills, Team Work, Interpersonal Skills, Supervisory Skills etc.

 Previous experience in handling customer facing associates would be an advantage.

 Spoken and written Arabic and English is required, and able to deliver training in English and Arabic language.

 Must be willing to work in rotational shifts – Mornings and Evenings, and flexible to travel to other company training centres, if required.

Job Tasks & Responsibilities:

 Develops and delivers training to enhance the skills of newly hired and current employees.

 Supports in design and development of courses, maintaining quality standards and satisfaction of the business.

 Trains the employees in job related skills, processes, procedures, products, handling common questions and objections.

 Monitors and review the progress of trainees in the training centre and on-the-job, through appraisals and discussions with store managers.

 Coaches and follows-up on trainees to solve specific problem related or performance improvement, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups.

 Conducts training needs analysis, and develops courses to meet those needs.

 Continuously reviews the training curriculum, delivery, material and recommend enhancements for training.

 Participates in development of assessment tools for trainees and on-job-training for store managers.

 Completes training reports for in-house and on-the-job training and periodic performance appraisal, and produces periodic training reports for management.

 Prepares and maintain the training materials and facilities ensuring readiness for delivery.

 Maintains the tidiness of the facilities to the highest standard, logging defects and maintenance issues on daily basis.

 Has understanding of e-learning techniques, and where relevant, being involved in the creation and/or delivery of e-learning packages.

 Stays up-to-date with developments in training by reading relevant journals, going to meetings and attending relevant courses and seminars.

 Supports colleagues where and when needed.

 Takes Initiative and shares ideas to improve standards and quality, and participates in process and Quality improvements.

 Displays the Values, and Quality standards, and embedment in the Academy.

 Perform any other duties related to the job as assigned by the direct manager.
