• Develop and implement an regional trade marketing and distribution plan which meets the company objectives by delivering volume targets and is in line with the brand & channel strategy
• Full Profit and Loss responsibility, with agreed profitability targets within the area.
• Manage area to deliver on target contribution.
• Full responsibility for optimal allocation and utilization of related items in the market.
• Manage the regional forecasts to ensure optimal stock available to meet demand and maximize freshness of product at the point of sale.
• Manage an efficient and effective regional trade marketing and distribution team through on-the-job training, motivation, and staff development in order that representation in the trade is superior to competition in the provision of both core and added value services.
• Manage the distribution of company brands through productive distributor relationships at area level in order to ensure that availability is maximized in line with the needs of the market by trade channel and outlet type
• Manage key customers through the development and implementation of account strategies and plans in order to maximize volume and in store presence within agreed budgets
• Keep Trade Marketing Area Managers fully informed of objectives, progress and future action plans in order that effective planning and in-market activities can be implemented
• Ensure area offices, company assets and other trade marketing resources are secure and used in the most effective and efficient manner possible.
• Provide trade marketing information and reports on performance to ensure that the Head of Trade and Brand team are fully informed at all times.
• Effective maintenance and utilization of key market data in the system in order to formulate Trade Marketing and Distribution plans
