Purchasing Officer – Career Hunters

1. Purchases and oversees the maintenance of all office furniture and equipment (computers, printers, faxes, photocopiers.)

2. Purchases office supplies (e.g. stationery, letterhead.)

3. Maintains records office furniture and equipment (computers, printers, faxes, photocopiers.)

4. Getting involved with different companies for best price, local and international.

5. Continuously surveys market for the latest prices of commodity items/ Applying price comparison of the offers.

6. Follow up with purchase orders.

7. Receives approved Material Requisition Forms from Cost Control and prepares the required Local Purchase Orders (LPO) for signature

8. Visits suppliers to check material availability and quality

9. Follow up all the deliveries, local and international.

10. Coordinates with Accounts on the payments to suppliers.
