Applies and develops section policies, processes, and procedures and monitors adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.
Applies the day-to-day operations assigned for the group to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.
Performs daily inspection in the area of responsibility to check jetty facilities and channel navigational buoys/lights in order to ensure that all equipments are properly function and make necessary repair requests.
Plans, coordinates and follows-up dredging schedule of channel in order to ensure safety of voyage of all marine boats going through the canal waterways.
Raises requests for the maintenance works of jetties and other facilities to ensure that all damaged portions are immediately attended and repaired by the concerned maintenance groups.
Directs the maintenance works done by contractors on the jetty and other facilities to ensure that all required repairs and maintenance are completed on time.
Monitors harbour waterways to ensure that the disposal of waste from marine vessels and other port users is properly carried out according to safety and environment regulations.
Prepares section reports in a timely and accurate manner to meet Company and section requirements, policies and standards.
Complies with all relevant safety, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
Performs other related duties or assignments as directed by Superiors.
