– calibrate the laboratory instruments / coordinate the preventive maintenance activities based on instrument calibration / PM schedule setup on LIMS
– prepare purchase request to procure the required instruments, spare parts, consumable, standards, lab chemicals and reagents that are necessary to run the test as per the approved method
– monitor the performance of laboratory equipment under his area of responsiblity and update the control charts for those intruments
– prepare control charts for the equipments to monitor the trend of the instruments and perform critical analysis
– update analysis work procedures / instructions based on the latest approved international methods
– coordinate and participate in prduct quality contamination and troubleshooting issues
– ensure effective implementation of ISO/IEC 17025 system
– participate and issues reports for the scheduled Internal Audits
– Investigate, resolve the source of non-conformance and issues corrective action reports
– work with the vendors to commission the new laboratory equipments, issues the new instrument commissioning report and add all required new instrument information to the Management System
– responsible to investigation of customer complaints and provide technical assistant to resolve the issues
– trian laboratory technicians
– mentor and train fresh laboratory chemist
– issue daily, weekly and monthly generated reports
– follow laboratory standards and safety procedures
– perform other related jobs as per the supervisor directives
– computer literate and good command in English Language
