We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to be based at their head office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
JOB OVERVIEW
To lead the company’s financial accounting, reporting and control activities across the group of companies and to ensure they are carried out efficiently, effectively and in line with best practice.
Reports to: Finance Director
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Management of the finance function and overseeing the finance team
• Preparation of budgets, forecasts and cash flows
• Maintenance of financial ledgers and accounting processes
• Preparation of Monthly Consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet
• Timely production of statutory and internal financial reports
• Financial modeling and analysis
• Cash management and treasury duties
• Ensuring that appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained
• Overseeing the Payroll process
• Develop systems and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective management of the company’s finances
• Using a financial control framework, including financial accountabilities and authorities to ensure full financial control
• To develop and control a centralised accounting system to ensure that accounts are effectively managed
• Act as the main point of contact to external auditors and provide all required information
• Ensure accounting policies comply with the relevant accounting standards and that group policies are followed
• Recommend changes that will improve the company’s financial performance and financial controls
• Draft statutory accounts for the group of companies
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
• Salary to be used as a guide only and will reflect experience levels and interview performance
• As a guideline between 40-50k SAR per month / $128-160k USD per annum total package
