Electrical Specialist VFD (Variable Frequency Drives) – GCC
We have a fantastic job opportunity with our client, a leading oil operator in the GCC. This is a permanent role that will permit professional enhancement and development, with exposure to high profile projects in the busiest O&G region.
The successful candidate will have strong experience managing the maintenance and repairs of all Electrical Submergible Pumps(ESP), Horizontal Pumping Systems(HPS), Variable Frequency Drives(VFD) and other electrical systems.
The Main Responsibilities:
– Inspect and repair electrical equipment as required in the field.- Perform diagnostic and troubleshooting services where required.- Train Electricians in the classroom and On the Job and train junior technicians in the workflow processes though Maximo computer management system.- Develop VFD technician training and development guidelines to ensure skills are learned and retained.- Follow and enforce safe work policies and procedures.
