Director of Audit, Procurement & M&A

Our Company, a third party administrator of automotive and insurance products and services is looking to recruit a Director of Audit, Procurement & M&A to oversee the audit and procurement functions within the Group of Companies and provide commercial support on all M&A activity.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

Audit

Plan and conduct audits to assess controls, operational efficiencies and compliance with selected policies, procedures and regulations. Resolve audit problems that occur and develop modifications to coverage and schedule

Ensure completion of audit assignments to provide independant, objective assurance to the Management team

Build relationships with leaders across the organisation to understand issues and identify areas for improvement for the organisation as a whole

Develop new methodologies to improve the audit process, making it “easier” for the organisation to request audits and implement recommendations

Keep abreast of developments in Corporate governance practices, legislative issues and audit regulations and trends and advise the business accordingly

Conduct periodic training workshops to promote awareness of internal controls and to discuss changes in policies that will impact the system flow of information

Support the annual renewal process of ISO certification

Conduct financial and process auditing periodically and where the Company currently conducts business, mainly in the GCC and South East Asia

Manage external auditors for the Group of Companies

Overlook Finance in some of the related companies in the Group as part of a shared service function

Procurement

Develop and deliver a procurement strategy across the Group to deliver the targets benefits and financial savings including improving each departments purchase strategy and savings plan

engage support and agreement for the stategy from key stakeholders so that implementation and compliance are optimal. Promote the effective management of suppliers to sustain value throughout the life of the contract

Establish new processes and systems for effective procurement across the Group. Develop e-forms and processes and investigate opportunities for broader saving in costs

M&A Support

Provide commercial support to the CEO on any M&A activity as and when required

Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management Team
