Corporate Communications Executive

Core Responsibilities:

• Participates in the conceptualization of URC’s corporate communications and public relations strategy and coordinates with marketing and sales departments to ensure the strategy is aligned to business objectives

• Maintains close awareness of best practices and industry standards in the area of branding and communication and incorporates the same into URC’s communication plan

• Ensures compliance with URC communication and branding guidelines, escalates issues and instances of non-compliance and provides governance on communication policy

•Identifies key stakeholders including potential clients, partners and regional media houses and ensures key messages and communication are relayed to them in a unified and timely manner

• Assists in implementation of communications strategy and formulates appropriate messaging for sensitive and confidential materials to be communicated to external audiences

• Partners with relevant internal and external subject matter experts to ensure accuracy, quality and effectiveness of internal messages

• Writes and pitches press releases and coordinate the press to implement the advertising and promotion campaigns to maximize brand awareness and enhance the corporate image of URC

• Manages the day-to-day relationship with public relations agency and maintains positive relations with members of the media, trade associations, and other constituent groups

• Designs corporate media materials including press kit, corporate brochures, and other material related to corporate communication, brand awareness and public relations

• Manages all marketing and corporate documentation and tracks and records company and competitor media coverage to assess communications programs, report findings and recommend improvements

• Assists the sales and leasing department to provide support when necessary and share expertise to enhance the effectiveness of URC’s marketing strategy

• Copywriting and editing of all internal and external content, making sure that it is consistent, accurate and well written

• Actively participates in assigned Cross Functional Teams (CFT) and ensures timely dissemination of information to CFT

• Performs other responsibilities and tasks as required or as directed by the Senior Marketing Executive

Self-Management:

• Strives to achieve the highest levels of proficiency on all the competencies and skills required to perform the role

• Sets the performance goals in the beginning of the year after discussion with the Senior Marketing Executive and ensures that the goals are achieved during the course of the year

• Identifies the training and development requirements for self and agree on them with the Senior Marketing Executive to ensure that the required training is arranged and attended
